Gary Moore

Position: Principal Clinical Dental Technician

With over 30 years’ experience in creating natural looking Dentures that fit and feel comfortable, Gary’s friendly and welcoming nature goes a long way to making his patients feel confident and at ease during their treatment Gary was one of the 1st clinical dental technicians qualified in the UK. He holds a diploma in clinical dental technology from the George Brown College, Toronto, Canada and The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Samantha Moore
Position: Business Manager

Sam is a very hard working pro active Business Manager. Overseeing a wide range of roles within the company, her main responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice. She is a strong leader who guides, encourages and supports the team to get the best possible level of care for all of our patients. Sam is always looking for ways to build and improve our services, and is quite happy to turn her hand.

Stacey Melton
Position: Account Support

Stacey is one of our most valued members of the team who joined us in September 2014. Patient account support and customer satisfaction are major priorities within her role. She will always do her utmost to complete a task and is always looking for new challenges. Stacey is a conscientious and courteous person who is always seeking ways to help, encourage and support her colleagues.

Ste Barker

Position: Lab Manager

Ste has been a member of our team since 1991. He is a very hard working invaluable employee who we are very lucky to have. Ste not only has the skill to produce and repair dentures to a high standard, but he strives in the smooth operational running of the laboratory procedures. Ste is a well respected member of staff who others will turn to for help and guidance. Ste is a guy who likes to relax and unwind in front of the TV.

Mara Valari
Position: GDC Registered Dentist

After graduating in 2017, Mara worked in the military hospital of the Air force in Athens, Greece, for two years. She then relocated to the UK to complete an MSc degree in fixed and removable prosthodontics at the University of Manchester. Mara offers a range of services but has a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including dentures and other complex cases. Mara is a lovely bubbly person who puts you at ease when you meet her. She is always smiling, and nothing is too much trouble. She is a real team player.

Joanne Maguire
Position: Practice Manager

Joanne joined Smiles and More in November 2019. Her qualifications include NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service and as a Treatment Coordinator. She has worked in the dentistry industry for over 23 years working with a diverse range of specialists in the UK and Europe.

“From the moment I joined Smiles and More, I felt part of the team and was made to feel welcome. Since joining, I have gained many skills and experience which have helped me develop in my new role as Practice Manager. My aim is to engage with all our patients, making sure they receive the very best experience from the moment they walk through the door.”

When she is working hard at Smiles and More, she enjoys working hard at the local gym! She loves travelling with her family and enjoying a cocktail or 2 in the sun.

Lakishia Fairbrother
Position:  Receptionist

Lakishia started working for Smiles and More at the start of 2022.

“I am a very approachable person and nothing is too much trouble. I really enjoy meeting all our patients when they enter the practice and watching them progress throughout their journey with Gary Or Mara.”
