Flexible Dentures

Flexible dentures are a comfortable, aesthetic and affordable choice for many of our patients. A common misconception is that the more rigid the denture, the more effective it will be.
However, recent innovations have shown that the more flexible the material, the more your new dentures are able to adapt to the constant movement of your mouth. They can adapt easily to any irregularities in the mouth to provide a fit that is more comfortable and effective.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Flexible Dentures?
Besides the material, the other major differences between flexible dentures and other partial dentures is that:
- Your natural teeth don’t need to be altered in any way. This means no drilling of the neighbouring teeth to fit the shape of a traditional metal partial denture.
- There are no tell-tale metal clasps to hold a flexible denture in place.
- No need for messy denture adhesives or fixatives!
Are they for you?
As with all partial dentures, we will need to discuss a treatment plan with your dentist before having your dentures made. This ensures all surrounding teeth and gums are healthy. We can help you with this process if you don’t have a dentist. If you would prefer to see one of our recommended local dentists instead Click here to contact us for more information.
